The Annual Western Days Festival hits historic Elgin the fourth week in June with the peak of festivities occurring on the fourth Saturday in June. The day is filled with fun beginning with an enormous Grand Parade. After enjoying the Grand Parade down Main Street, make your way over to Elgin Memorial Park on the corner of Main Street and Hwy 95N to enjoy the Video Game, Volleyball, Softball and Horseshoe tournaments as well as the Carnival. Spread throughout the park will be many children's activities, a multitude of Arts and Craft vendors as well as a variety of food vendors! Enjoy the live music throughout the day. Proven as one of Elgin's best festivals and annual homecoming events, come out and be a part of this unique and affordable event in Bastrop County which thousands attend.
