ANNUAL WESTERN DAYS FESTIVAL   -  4th Week in June

The Annual Western Days Festival hits historic Elgin the fourth week in June with the peak of festivities occurring on the fourth Saturday in June. The Texas Lost Pines Rodeo fills the day with fun beginning with a Kiddie Parade followed by an enormous Grand Parade. After enjoying the Grand Parade down Main Street, make your way over to Elgin Memorial Park on the corner of Main Street and Hwy 95N to enjoy the Volleyball, Softball and Horseshoe tournaments as well as the Carnival. Spread through out the park will be many children's activities, a multitude of Arts and Craft vendors as well as a variety of food vendors! Enjoy the live music through out the day. Proven as one of Elgin's best festivals and annual homecoming events, come out and be a part of this unique and affordable event in Bastrop County which thousands attend.
