The Elgin Depot Museum

Union Depot Museum is open six days a week from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., closed Mondays and some holidays.

The museum has rotation exhibits and a permanent exhibit on the development of Elgin. A book by local author Charlene Hanson Jordan, Cross Roads Elgin, Transportation History of Elgin, Texas published 2004 available in the gift store for $20 plus shipping and handling.

The museum has an extensive photography collection and archives area.

Visitors are welcome to browse photos, copies may be obtained.
Group tours are available by appointment.
