Responsibilities

  • Procurement of goods and services, payment of all bills, payroll, monitoring of contracts, management of bank accounts, cost accounting, grant accounting, investment of idle funds, debt management and coordination of annual audit. 
  • Preparation of financial statements, issuance of short-term notes and long-term debt instruments plus continuing disclosure documents related to debt.
  • Preparation of the annual operating and capital improvement budgets, coordination of their implementation; preparation and monitoring of monthly budget reports. 
  • Completion of Truth in Taxation calculations, notices and recommendation for setting the annual Ad Valorem Tax Rates.
  • Utility Billing
