Join the Elgin City Council and partners for the ribbon cutting and facility preview Tuesday, May 29 4 pm to 8 pm. Soft soled shoes required to access full facility.  Elgin Recreation Center, 361 North Hwy. 95  Elgin, Texas 78621

You bet! A comprehensive look at the
communication equipment since Elgin
became Elgin will be featured in an
exhibit at the Elgin Depot Museum.
Opens June 2, at 10 a.m
. with welcome and introductions. Extensive collections will
be featured. All people with connections
to the telephone industry are especially
invited to attend.  The women of the
fledgling telephone industry will be honored,
especially the ladies who provided Elgin's excellent telephone service.
